What is the purpose of this website?
This website:
- Allows students' ideas and work to reach a wider audience
- Exposes students to writing styles other than their own

How is this website different from other paper-sharing sites?
1. It was created for the Harvard Community
- Publishing is restricted to people with harvard.edu email addresses
- Access to papers is also restricted to Harvard students by default, although members can choose to publish for the whole world
- Users can start discussions and contact each other
- The website hosts work on a variety of topics and styles
- Students are not allowed to disclose the grades they received for their assignments.
2. The website respects intellectual property and does not encourage academic dishonesty
- Published papers cannot be downloaded and text cannot be extracted from them
- There are no financial incentives for publishing or charges for access
- Professors are notified when assignments written for their class are published and may request that assignments written for their class are not published
